Our Story…………………

White Rabbit Truck is Los Angeles Original Filipino Fusion Truck. The idea started with a tight group of friends noticing the lack of Filipino cuisine in the mainstream. They started with under $1,000 and experimented with various menu items for nearly one year at their home kitchen. After sampling their cuisine to hundreds of friends & family, White Rabbit Truck was born July 10, 2010. With the rise of the popularity of Filipino food, we noticed that there were no places that served true Filipino Fusion food. Now we are able to bring this medley of food to the streets, where everybody can experience the goodness of a few of our favorite childhood Filipino foods, and now with an American and Mexican twist.

Our mission is to introduce the masses to our take on Filipino cuisine. White Rabbit has been fortunate to be featured on multiple media outlets such as Food Network, Travel Channel, KTLA News, Fox LA News, Kababyaan18, ABS CBN, LA Weekly, Zagat, Daily News and many local publications & blogs. White Rabbit Truck also launched its first brick & mortar restaurant in November 2010 in Canoga Park, CA.

James Du – Chef / Cafe Manager

Graduated from Le Cordon Blu in 2005. Worked under the famous Gordon Ramsey. Attended high school at Bishop Alemany.  His culinary experience ranges from the famous Chateau Marmont Hotel & Motion Picture Catering. James noticed the need for a Filipino food truck. James has the culinary experience working in a restaurant & truck setting.




Melvin Chua – Operations / Truck Manager

Graduated from UCI received his degree in Economics & Marketing. Attended high school at Bishop Alemany.   His work experience was primarily in Real Estate Sales & Insurance Sales. Melvin wanted to introduce Filipino cuisine to the masses and thought a food truck was the best way to begin. Melvin main contributions would be handling the marketing & operations for the company.


Michael Dimaguila – Finance / Operations Manager

Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Attended high school at Bishop Alemany. Michael Graduated from CSUN Business School in Management & Finance. His work experience was primarily in Real Estate Finance & Sales. Michael was intrigued by the idea introducing Filipino food with the food truck craze in LA. Michael main contribution would be to handle all the back office operations & finances for White Rabbit Truck.
