Cliff says, “This is not your typical food truck festival, this event will offer cutting-edge culinary flavors from chefs who want to take your palette on a journey you won’t soon forget. We are creating an unbelievable festival of haute cuisine you don’t want to miss.”

We’re looking forward to seeing you there! White Rabbit Truck will be there serving from 10am – 5pm.  Our first Palm Springs Visit Ever.

New 2012 Exclusive Signature Item Contest

For 2012, we are introducing an exclusive never been done before signature entree which will be available with limited quantities. We wanted to incorporate a breakfast item shared by many families, although we wanted to do it White Rabbit fusion style. Typically,  many filipino families enjoy a breakfast plate of spam, eggs, rice and of course “Jufran (banana ketchup)” on the side. We decided to place on these items into a burger that is constructed with no buns.

Our signature item consists of honey-glazed spam as the burger buns sandwiched between garlic or steamed  rice, eggs, cheese, nori seaweed, and of course Jufran in the middle.

CONTEST: We want our beloved fans to name this “signature item” before we place the item permanently on our menu.

RULES: Come out and try the burger and tell us what you think? either tweet or email us a name and we will choose the winner by February 1st.

WINNER: Gets FREE T-SHIRT and FREE COMBO.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS “YEAR OF THE RABBIT”

Happy Holidays from the White Rabbit family.  Our café has celebrated its 1st year in business and our truck is about 1yr and ½. 2011 is the “Year of Rabbit” and has blessed us with tons of publicity from being featured on Travel Channel: Man V. Food, Food Network: Outrageous Foods, and tons of local media coverage. Our next goal is getting on the famous Food Network show: The Great Food Truck Race season 3… or maybe we are filming already. We greatly appreciate our  fans, we would be nothing without your love and support. We feel truly blessed to serve our cuisine to the masses. White Rabbit has many “BIG” plans in 2012,  possibly introducing an Orange County Truck, a second Brick N’ Mortar location and even a concept that has never been done before….  stay tuned, much love, and have a Happy New Year.

IE FOOD TRUCK FEST OCTOBER 8th, CITIZENS BANK ARENA

IE FOOD TRUCK & BREW FEST kicks off at 11 AM on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Southern California’s Ontario. Spotlighting the gourmet food truck movement that has exploded over this past year, the festival is celebrating this new style of street food to the untapped community of Inland Empire.

As you may or may not know, gourmet food trucks are prohibited to roam the streets in the Inland Empire area. In hopes of changing that, which might be sooner than we think, this festival is meant to showcase the delectable cuisine that is rolling out on our SoCal streets.

On Saturday, October 8th, expect 54 gourmet food trucks to roll out to Inland Empire for the IE Food Truck & Brew Fest at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario. From Food Network’s Great Food Truck Race contestants Nom Nom to your favorite comfort food on wheels like The Grilled Cheese Truck and those party-goers White Rabbit Truck, known for their 6lb burrito contest. The IE Food Truck & Brew Fest is bringing a diverse palate of cuisine for those food enthusiasts in the area. Presale tickets are now available for the IE Food Truck & Brew Fest, which also features live music, local businesses, LA Kings Hockey, Rock Climbing, a Motorcycle Stunt Show, kid’s area, and more!

Make sure to see the complete list of confirmed gourmet food trucks at http://iefoodtruckfest.com/the-food and follow us on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/IEFoodTruckFest.

Santa Anita Festival October 1, 2011 11am-5pm

ARCADIA, Calif. (Sept. 13, 2011)—In addition to presenting four Grade I stakes races, Santa Anita Park will host its fourth Gourmet Food Truck Festival on Breeders’ Cup Challenge Day, Saturday, Oct. 1.

Santa Anita has hosted three highly successful Food Truck Festivals in its infield area this year, most recently on May 14.

“Santa Anita was the first to bring the idea of Food Truck Festivals to Southern California racetracks and we look forward to this event continuing that tradition,” said Santa Anita President George Haines. “We will be offering some of the best racing we’ve seen all year and there’s no doubt this could be the biggest day of our Autumn Meet.

“We’ve found that the Food Truck Festivals deliver a terrific demographic for us. The crowds are family-oriented and we feel this is a great opportunity for us to introduce our sport to an entirely new group of people. The vendors consider this an ideal venue and they realize Santa Anita is a perfect place for them to maintain and expand their own fan base,” he added.

Approximately 70 vendors are expected on Oct. 1, including prominent food trucks such as The Grilled Cheese Truck, the Lobsta Truck, Ragin Cajun, Shrimp Pimp, White Rabbit, Nom Nom and many more.

The Food Truck Festival is free, with paid General Admission of $5 to Santa Anita. All parking lots will open at 10:30 a.m. Admission gates will open at 11 a.m.

Festival operating hours will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. First race post time at Santa Anita is 1 p.m.

OC Foodie Fest was the first and biggest gourmet food truck festival in Orange County. Launched on August 28, 2010, at the Honda Center of Anaheim. With over 8,500 foodies in attendance, the sold-out event showcased 49 gourmet food trucks, six local bands, dance crews, indie vendors, art and charities. This year the event has moved across the street to Angels Stadium and with an expanded food line up of 150 vendors, more entertainment, more competitions, and more games you can expect more yummies for your tummies!

The Foodie Fest in itself is meant to celebrate the gourmet food movement that has been on the rise in Southern California. These mobile eateries offer a wide variety of culinary creations and a unique spin on culinary fusion, while providing an affordable and easily accessible dining experience. The movement has developed a passionate foodie following through the clever use of Twitter. We want to spotlight these trucks while adding elements that are unique to each community.

The OC Foodie Fest is a partnership with OCFoodies.com, to highlight Local Businesses, Artists, Musicians, and Charities.  The event is dedicated to providing an electric atmosphere to showcase local culture and give back to the community.
